Welcome to our farm and Gamlastovo, where you're invited to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of our space.
The old house nestled in our clustered homestead is a typical Western Norwegian small log cabin from the 18th century, once home to a farmer's family of 14. In Gamlastovo, you'll find a cozy living room with views of the hills and fjord, a rustic kitchen with a furnace, and a modern bathroom designed in an old-fashioned style. Upstairs, 'Salen' offers four beds, while 'Odel' features a snug double bed measuring 140cm wide. The furniture is lovingly preserved from yesteryears.
Oldemors Stove
Welcome to our farm and Oldemors Stove, where you're invited to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of our space.
In the main house, you can stay in 'Oldemors Stove' above the household, accommodating 3 people. Enjoy beautiful fjord and garden views from your own balcony facing the sea, with a living room, kitchen, small bathroom, and private upstairs entrance. The style is rustic cottage garden, featuring old-fashioned furniture.
Experience with accommodation?
At Aarvik gard, you can, for example, combine courses with accommodation and the option to book breakfast, lunch, and dinner in historical Røykstovo from the local chef in our village.
At the same time, you can set aside time or a day for swimming, hiking, or go fishing.
